Padel Magazine - On our facebook page, we noticed that a number of you asked us for more technical explanations.
We will therefore try to list the top 10 mistakes made by the majority of players in padel. Let's try to solve them with a few tips:

1 - DO NOT COMPLY WITH LIFE.

We all tend to over-play or not be in the rhythm. At padel, if we don't try to play differently, it's over. So don't bother with difficult shots. Play diagonally, use a greater margin of error, try to play as much as possible in front of the game, to slow down the game when possible and of course even if it is abstract to take the time to think before playing.

2- DO NOT REJECT YOUR CHANCE

Sometimes we hit the net or we win a point unexpectedly. Of course, don't try to repeat the feat. On the contrary, muddle the waters by trying to play more “ padel".
For example, playing up can be good at times, but opponents can adapt and move forward to win the point. Try to play more cut ...

3 - AFTER A BEAUTIFUL POINT, BE VIGILENT

Very often, after playing a big point, many players try to do even better by taking even more risks. Unfortunately, it's often a mistake that follows… Fight that old saying that says "After a nice point a big mistake"

4 - Beware of the "Law of 3e smash"

Do not always play the same shot. Your opponents will know how to adapt.
Take care to vary by depositing some short smashes ...

5 - play a tie-break while being aggressive
Even more than in tennis, it is important not to suffer too much from the blows of opponents. Do not let your opponents dictate the game. To win a tie-break, you need to be relatively aggressive to avoid the yoke of the opposite pair.
Go ahead, it will be your salvation and you will avoid regrets.

6 - PLAYING TOGETHER WITH ONE STRATEGY

Players from the same team often talk to each other to adapt or change their strategy. If a change needs to be made, do it for two and not everyone in the corner. Give yourself a little time to evaluate the outcome of the change of strategy. But mostly play as a team and not singly.

7 - TELL YOUR PARTNER

When things are going well, there is nothing to prove. A team is formed on the impact it has to bounce back. It is also formed in the difficulty of his matches ...
Talking and good can sometimes be the cure for turning things around.
To show your partner possibly in the red to bounce: a little pat or a few words of encouragement may be enough. Using humor is sometimes a good weapon to "break" the tension.

8 - WHAT TO DO IN A BAD DAY

All players go through it ... Difficult to advise ... Yet, trying to play simple with short gestures you can regain confidence.
Taking time when changing sides and talking with your partner are also solutions that can work.

9 - BETTER CENTERING THE BALL

You want more security in your ball, so center the ball. It sounds stupid and yet, we often play too much with the slice of the racket. How to do ? On each ball, focus on the ball and do not let go of it.

10 - YOU FEEL PRESSED, PLAY HIGH!

Sometimes to break the rhythm or be able to avoid flowing, his salvation will pass through lobes.
It's a strategy that works well. But it will also depend on the quality of the lobe as the level of the opponents.
