The 2025 French Padel Championships begin this Friday in Casa Padel from Kingersheim and all eyes are turned towards Alix Collombon and Léa Godallier. Four-time defending champions, they have never known defeat in this competition since their first association in 2021. The question is therefore simple: Who could possibly stop their incredible unbeaten streak?
An uncontested reign

Collombon and Godallier have built an unbeaten run in French padel for four years. Their consistency and international experience make them a virtually untouchable duo. Even diminished, like last year against Carla Touly and Jessica Ginier, they have always found the resources to impose themselves. On the way to a fifth title, they remain the big favorites of the tournament.

Historic but weakened rivals

Touly and Ginier are the only ones to have truly worried the best French pair, in the final last year. But their preparation was not ideal: both were eliminated in the first round at Roland-Garros. Their status as challengers remains, but their dynamics seem less favorable, which could benefit other more confident pairs.

New threats to watch out for

Behind the two big shots, Two associations are of particular interest. Lucile Pothier et Charlotte Soubrié are banking on their shared experience and their experience of major events to shake up the hierarchy. But the little thrill comes from the number 4 seed: Marie-Amélie Dardaine and Camille SireixThe left-hander, combined with an attack-oriented Sireix, form an explosive pair, capable of surprising anyone in a match. An alliance that could well be the revelation of the weekend in Kingersheim.
