The list of 12 male pairs automatically qualified for the 2025 French Senior Championship padel of the 19 21 in September 2025 has several big surprises in store. While the presence of the Blanqué/Leygue pair at the top of the seeding doesn't surprise anyone, other new combinations are attracting attention: Maxime Joris aligned on the left alongside Julien Seurin, Johan Bergeron who will play with Thomas Vanbauce, or the Adrien Maigret / Jérémy Scatena association.

Classic for the ladies

There are no real surprises to report among the women's competition. Headliners like Collombon / Godallier, Touly / Ginier Barbier or, Denecheau / Bergaud occupy the top positions, faithfully reflecting the national ranking. The best French players will be present, combined as planned.

Guichard / Vives: the Daltons in the lead 2nd series

On the male side, the changes are much more striking. If the seeded 1 stays true to herself with the pair Blanqué / Leygue is second place in the table which attracts attention. We find there the Team Dalton, Dylan Guichard and Manuel Vives.

Joris on the left: a real surprise

Le most surprising choice concerned Maxime Joris, a player renowned as one of the best French players in post on the right, which will be associated with the left-hander Julien Seurin…on the right. Even though Joris has already played on the left, he is now considered essential in its register on the right. This setup might be experimental, but it won't go unnoticed.

Bergeron with Vanbauce, an unexpected duo

En seeded 4, we initially expected Johan Bergeron next to Dylan Guichard. Finally, it is a association with Thomas Vanbauce which is official. Vanbauce was initially supposed to team up with Simon Wagner, but he therefore finds a more experienced player, and Bergeron naturally returns to his position on the right.

Firebrand returns, Maigret sets the tone

The return of Benjamin Tison, associated to Maxime ForcinWas expected, and this pair could well play the spoilsport. This is in any case what Adrien Maigret explained to us, who believes that this is the most dangerous pair behind Blanqué / Leygue.

As for the Parisian, Adrien Maigret, he will play with another returnee and former member of the French team: Jérémy Scatena. The pair is positioned at the 11th place.

A redistribution of the cards

As a direct result of these choices:

  • Simon Wagner, initially expected to play with Vanbauce, will finally play with Philemon Raichman.
  • The pair Wagner / Raichman will therefore be there pair 10.
  • Jerome Inzerillo who no longer plays with Adrien Maigret, will have to go through the qualifying stages if he hopes to play a role in the final stages.
  • Nicolas Molinero and Alexandre Toppin complete the list to the 12th position.
