Among the surprises 2025 French Padel Championships , the return of Adrien Maigret next to Jérémy Scatena attracts attention. An unexpected association, even if Maigret had already mentioned this option as serious a few weeks ago.
The two men know each other perfectly , they who had already teamed up during the France 2022 program au Toulouse Padel Club , concluding their journey on a 3th place Three years later, circumstances have changed, but the desire remains intact. This time, no pressure for the two friends: the objective is no longer necessarily the title, but rather to to have fun and, why not, create a surprise.
Two paths, one desire
Si Jérémy Scatena no longer has the same activity as before on the circuits, Adrien Maigret , him, still hopes to return to the French team in 2025. Which makes the stakes still high for the Parisian.
As for Scatena, 7 times French champion next to Robin Haziza et two-time runner-up (With Jeremy Ritz et Dylan Guichard ), this return is a real comeback , almost unexpected. To almost 40 years (he was born on April 16, 1985), the former Top 100 worldwide no longer has the drive he once had. He now devotes his energy to his activity around the construction of padel courts . But as Adrien Maigret confides:
" Jeremy can obviously play very well. It's make or break, he won't be under any pressure. And if he's having a good day, we can be a dangerous pair. "
An association born from a particular context
This association was not planned in Maigret's program recently. separated from Jérome Inzerillo . With all the best French players already signed, it was necessary to turn to an original option . And why not make some new with old ?
Recall that Adrien Maigret , old 37 years et young dad , took a step back at the end of last year. But he's back in 2025 with a lot of ambition , determined to return to the top level and especially the French team.
What will be the level of play of Jérémy Scatena after two years without competition? Will this improvised duo manage to surprise the time of a crazy weekend ?
Response from the 19 21 in September 2025 , during the French Championships Where Scatena and Maigret have already qualified for the final stages .
