The Tennis P1000 & Padel Club Toulonnais is living up to all its promises with a particularly open edition. After a Saturday full of twists and turns, the semi-finals have delivered their verdict and several outsiders continue to shake up the hierarchy.
The top half of the draw has been completely reshuffled following the withdrawal of the top seeds, Théo Suzanna and Tristan Piombo. This absence is explained by their superb run this week at the FIP Silver Narbonne, thus opening up numerous opportunities for the other participating teams.
The main beneficiaries of this situation are Lucas Navarro and Thibaut Nani Ranked 21st in the tournament, the pair had a remarkable run and secured a place in the semi-finals.
Still in the upper part of the table, Romain Vial and Benjamin Tullou delivered one of the day's best performances, clearly dominating the number 4 seed. Nicolas Molinero and Tom Taieb , in two dry sets: 6 / 2 6 / 2 .
The semi-final will therefore pit Lucas Navarro / Thibaut Nani against Romain Vial / Benjamin Tullou. Will Lucas Navarro and Thibaut Nani manage to continue their incredible journey?
In the lower part of the table, the seed 3, Raphaël Rubio and Alexandre Toppin , came very close to facing criminal charges Thomas Messina and Kevin Audo After losing the first set, Rubio and Toppin ultimately found the strength to win in three sets: 5/7 6/3 6/4 .
They will face the 8th seed in the semi-finals. Valentin Pasquier and Joshua Schbeir , who had put in a strong performance in the previous round. They had eliminated the number 2 seed, Julie Marie and Rémy Gourre , at the end of a match played in three sets: 6/3 1/6 6/3 .
The semi-finals will take place this Sunday starting from 10 hours in Tennis & Padel Club Toulonnais. The matches will be broadcast live on Padel MagTV , with comments from Loïc Delmas .
