This Saturday, the Paraguayan public will be treated to an explosive clash between two of the best female pairs on the circuit:  Ariana Sánchez / Paula Josemaría  (seeded 1) against  Bea González / Claudia Fernández  (seeded 3). A clash with the feel of a classic... but for the moment largely dominated by the world number 1s.

A dynamic in favor of Ari and Paula

Le  face-to-face is final  : 4-0 for Ari and Paula against Bea and Claudia since the beginning of the season. This year, they faced each other in the semi-finals at  Miami (6/1 6/4) in  Santiago (2/6 6/3 6/3) in  Doha (6/2 5/7 6/4) , and in the final at  Riyadh , where Bea had to withdraw.

Still as strong,  Ari and Paula remain on a six-game winning streak . Today they are aiming for their  7th victory in a row , and an  23rd final  together on the circuit Premier Padel (record), with already  13 tracks  to their credit. But be careful: in the event of a defeat this Saturday, and a victory  Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay  in the other half,  they could lose their number 1 throne ...

Bea and Claudia want to break the streak

Facing them, Bea and Claudia argue  their fifth consecutive semi-final . In search of a  second final in 2025 , they qualified without forcing: a 6/2 6/1 against Castelló / Rufo, then a victory after Icardo / Jensen retired when they were leading 3/0.

Bea aims her  13rd final  on the circuit (7 titles), Claudia sa  15e  (6 titles). But a major challenge awaits them:  They have never beaten Ari and Paula together yet. , despite their consistency this season.

Contrasting backgrounds in Asunción

Last year,  Bea González had won the tournament  right here with Delfi Brea, while  Claudia had lost in the final  with Triay facing… Bea and Delfi. As for Ari and Paula, they had been stopped  in the semi-final by Claudia and Triay .

A year later, the cards have been reshuffled. The momentum is clearly tilting toward Sánchez and Josemaría… but revenge is a powerful force. The verdict will be delivered in a few hours on Asunción's center court.
