4PADEL and Babolat They are continuing their joint venture. Partners since 2018, the two French companies have announced the renewal of their agreement for another four years. Babolat It thus remains the official and exclusive equipment supplier of the 4PADEL network, with several new features planned, including the launch of a range of co-branded products.
The announcement was made official during the inauguration of the 4PADEL Saint-Priest, near Lyon , in the presence of, among others Éric Babolat , President of Babolatand of Joseph Vieville , co-founder of the Players group.
This extension strengthens a collaboration that began in 2018 When Babolat has become the network's partner for equipment, footwear and textiles.
A collaboration that supports the growth of French padel
Since the start of their partnership, the French padel market has changed profoundly. The sport has notably experienced a strong acceleration after the health crisis, with a surge in the number of players and the opening of numerous complexes across the country.
4PADEL supported this growth by opening more than twenty clubs in the last three years According to figures released by the retailer, nearly 600,000 qualified players have now frequented his network.
This development is pushing both partners to commit to a long-term collaboration.
"This renewal demonstrates the strength of the relationship between the two parties and their shared ambition to continue developing padel and its practice in France," explains Joseph Vieville , co-founder of 4PADEL.
Babolat remains the exclusive equipment supplier of 4PADEL
For the next four years, Babolat will retain its status as the official and exclusive equipment supplier for the 4PADEL network .
The French brand will continue, in particular, to equip and train the network's coaches. rackets, balls, shoes and textiles will also remain present within the various complexes.
However, the partnership is not limited to the supply of equipment. The two companies wish to strengthen support for players and teachers, by making products available for testing and training teams in order to better guide players according to their profile and level.
"It is the combination of these two areas of expertise that allows us to create the best experience for the padel player," he emphasizes. Éric Babolat , president of the French family business.
The 4PADEL Training Club by Babolat will continue
Another element carried over: the 4PADEL Training Club by Babolat , a program dedicated in particular to the training and detection of young players.
The two partners wish to continue developing teaching within the clubs, for both adults and children, with equipment adapted to different audiences.
Joint activities and events will also continue to be organised in the clubs of the network.
A 4PADEL x range Babolat in preparation
This is one of the main new features of this new agreement: 4PADEL and Babolat will develop an exclusive, co-branded padel product collection .
A common ball already exists, but the two brands now want to go further. The first new piece in this range was unveiled at the inauguration in Saint-Priest.
Other titles are expected to gradually join this collection over the next few years.
A partnership that should also support 4PADEL internationally
The renewal comes at a time when 4PADEL intends to continue its development outside of France . Babolat must accompany this expansion, in particular with strengthened European coordination between the group's various subsidiaries.
Germany is one of the markets targeted by this strategy.
After eight years of collaboration, 4PADEL and Babolat They are therefore entering a new phase of their partnership. Beyond the equipment supplier's presence in the clubs, the objective is now to involve more Equipment, training, events, teaching and exclusive products , while supporting the development of the French network on a European scale.
