The 4PADEL of Vaires-Torcy has officially opened its doors, adding a new stone to the 4PADEL network. This ambitious project, carried out in partnership with recreates and Ile-de-France region, is part of a public service delegation and aims to diversify the local sports offering. Marc Dessenis, marketing director of 4PADEL, tells us the story of this unique complex.

A project in collaboration with Recrea and the Île-de-France region

Marc Dessenis: “This project was born in collaboration with Recrea, an operator specialized in swimming pool management, with whom we also work on other sites such as the Olympic Aquatic Center (CAO), which will open on June 2 and will welcome nine padel courtsIn Vaires-Torcy, we have benefited from a public services delegation that allows us to operate a site historically dedicated to racket sports. The former Open Set club wanted to integrate a new discipline to boost its offering. This is how we installed nine indoor padel courts and expanded the offer with four indoor pickleball courts, a first for 4PADEL after Paris 20. We also have four squash courts, which makes this center a unique multi-sport venue.”

A site in full development

What does the site look like today and what are the future developments? “Currently, we have nine indoor padel courts, four indoor pickleball courts and four squash courts. But that's not all: three additional outdoor padel courts will be added during the year. The center's environment is also a major asset: located in the heart of the Leisure Island, it attracts many visitors, whether they are players or simply passing through. It is a real place of life, with spaces to relax, have a drink or simply enjoy the surroundings.”

La Remontada 2024: a major event under the Eiffel Tower

" Comeback, an event of the 4PADEL circuit, will see its final phases take place on 14 and 15 June next at the foot of the Eiffel TowerThis year, we are innovating with a real padel court equivalent to those of major tournaments, offering an optimal playing experience for participants and spectators. Unlike previous editions, this facility will meet the same standards as those of professional circuits, with a superb track. And then, there may be a nice surprise for Parisians…”

Ambitious national development

“We have several openings planned in the coming months and years, including Cannes , Velizy et Seclin, near Lille. – Seclin : a club with ten indoor tracks, opening planned for August 2025. - Cannes : A major construction site in progress, with an estimated opening between the end of 2025 and the first semester 2026. - Velizy : a project in development that is continuing. Our objective is clear: open ten new clubs per year for at least five years, which will represent 50 new centers by 2030.”
