Le French padel continues to break records in 2026. With a historic average of 7,1 tournaments per player over the past twelve months and more 1,15 million cumulative shares In official competitions, the discipline confirms its incredible growth in France. Between the explosion in the number of competitors, record activity in clubs and the rise of the most active players, the latest figures show a sport in full acceleration.
It’s absolute record in France : the bar of 7 tournaments on average per player was crossed last month, and the momentum continues to build in May as the average now reaches precisely 7,1 tournaments per player over the last twelve months.

When we look at the details, one element particularly stands out: the average of the French Top 1000 is greater than that of French Top 100 .
Specifically, the players of French Top 100 display an average of 15,3 tournaments per player over the past twelve months. In the Top 1000 , this average climbs to 21,9 tournaments per player .
This is excellent news for clubs and competition organizers, who are benefiting from ever-increasing activity.

But these figures also hide another reality: more than half of the competitors have only competed in... 1 to 3 tournaments over the last twelve months.
And if we add up the players who participated in 4 to 6 tournaments It is then observed that nearly 70% of competitors play in fewer than one tournament every two months. .
Conversely, a genuine base of highly active players continues to grow. More than 13 players thus participated in more than 21 tournaments over a year. A figure higher than the brackets of players who competed between 11 and 15 tournaments or between 16 and 20 tournaments .
This record activity is logically reflected in the total number of entries recorded over the last twelve months.
And once again, French padel has reached a historic milestone: the bar of million shares in the men's category, it has been largely surpassed.

In total, it is now 1,152,441 cumulative entries which have been recorded, that is to say the sum of all the tournaments played by all the players.
For the first time in the history of French padel, the The men alone account for over a million entries. over twelve months, while the ladies approach the 140,000 entries .
A historic May, therefore, which also coincides with another record: that of average number of tournaments played per competitor , now fixed at 7,1 .
