The highly anticipated  P1000 Ti Break from Guilers , equipped with an impressive  cash prize of €10,000 The verdict was delivered this Sunday with the victory of the 2nd seed.  Jeremy Robert / Olivier Guy de Chamisso  facing the 1th seed  Maxime Forcin / Maxime Deloyer .

A victory in two sets:
 6 / 4 7 / 5  in an intense, hard-fought and overall very high-level final.

A first set dominated by TS2

From the start of the match, Robert and Guy de Chamisso took the lead.

Both teams produce almost as many winning shots, but the difference is quickly made on unforced errors, which are less numerous on the side of the 2 seed.

In this first round,  Maxime Deloyer  appears slightly inward while  Jeremy Robert  holds its diagonal perfectly in the face of  Maxime Forcin .

But above all,  Olivier Guy de Chamisso  makes a huge difference offensively and is more incisive in key moments.

Robert and Guy de Chamisso take a two-break lead. Despite a break back from Forcin and Deloyer, they maintain control of the set and win.  6/4  in only  class .

 A more messy second set

The scenario changes a bit in the second round.

The level remains high but the set becomes more choppy with more unforced errors, especially on the Robert/Guy de Chamisso side.

Forcin and Deloyer take advantage of this to get back into the game.
Maxime Deloyer  He clearly regains a better level of play and has a much greater impact on the exchanges.

The two teams traded blows until the final moments.

But at  5/5 Robert and Guy de Chamisso managed to break at the best moment before closing out the match on their own serve to win.  7/5  after  class  additional.

A major tournament culminating in a title

The two young players therefore win this very nice P1000 at the end of a huge weekend.

After their demonstration in the semi-final against Dumoulin / Couturier, they confirmed it in the final against the number 1 seed.

They also leave with a very nice share of the  unprecedented cash prize of €10,000 , a very rare prize fund for a tournament of this category on the French circuit.

A huge success for Ti Break

Beyond the sporting aspect, this first major event organized by the  Ti Break de Guilers  already appears to be a real success.

  • Crazy atmosphere,
  • Large crowds throughout the weekend.
  • successful animations,
  • raised platform
  • and a very high level of play on the slopes.

This event confirms that this Breton tournament has clearly found its place among the major events of French padel.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
