The Nantes region is preparing to welcome a new sports complex dedicated to paddle and pickleball Located in Saint-Étienne-de-Montluc, on the outskirts of Nantes, this future space aims to become much more than just a sports center, with an approach that blends sports, socializing and professional events .
The opening is scheduled for the first quarter 2027 .
A complex of over 4,200 m²
The project includes the creation of:
- 9 padel courts
- 4 pickleball courts
- Un restaurant with a tree-lined terrace
- Un club house
- A seminar room
- A interactive games and experiences room
- Un car racing simulator
The complex will be built with a direct access from the Nantes ring road , a strategic location to attract both regular practitioners and businesses and occasional visitors.
Pickleball continues its development
Alors que le paddle continues its strong growth in France, the project also focuses on the development of pickleball , a discipline that is rapidly expanding internationally.
Accessible, fun and particularly intergenerational, pickleball complements the sports offering of the future complex with the aim of reaching a wide audience, from recreational players to competitors.

A desire to create a true living space
The project's proponents wish to go beyond simply providing sports equipment.
The future complex has been designed as a hybrid space where the following can intersect:
- the players,
- companies,
- families,
- but also sports event enthusiasts.
Le restaurant with a green terrace It should notably become a central point of the site, allowing the experience to be extended after the matches in a friendly environment.
Le club house It will serve as a meeting place for members and visitors.
A padel academy and planned competitions
The complex also intends to play a role in the development of regional padel with the creation of a academy dedicated to training and performance .
Competitions should also be organised in order to quickly establish the site in the Nantes sporting landscape.
A structuring project for the Nantes metropolitan area
With the current dynamism of padel in France and the economic attractiveness of the Nantes metropolitan area, the project's promoters wish to make this future complex a regional benchmark.
The official name of the site, its exact address and the inauguration schedule will be revealed soon.
