Familiar figure of the French padel, Melanie Ros begins a major turning point in 2025. 37 years, the one who accumulates several years in the national Top 10, while teaching PE for almost two decades, decided to change course.
A key player in French padel
For several seasons, Mélanie Ros has established herself as a a sure bet on the French circuit. Very present on the P1000 and P2000 tournaments, she also has feats of arms in the French Senior team. Her greatest consecration: a title of world champion over 35 years old, obtained alongside Charlotte Soubrié. A significant experience, which she sums up as follows:
"This team was a discovery for me, but what a discovery! It was an incredible experience with superb results from all the players. I'm sure the girls will be ready to repeat these performances in September during the European Championships."

2025: the year of a professional shift
After 17 years spent in National Education, Mélanie turns the page on her career as PE teacher. A considered decision, fueled by the desire to explore new professional paths, closer to his personal commitments.
“There's a time for everything. Today, I feel it's time for me to pursue other desires. This is an important moment, a milestone that's never easy to pass, and one that many people experience. A page is turning, but I'm very excited about the idea of developing other projects.”
A field project… or maybe more
True to her favorite world, Mélanie Ros is preparing a new project related to padel, the outlines of which will be revealed soon. Although it remains deliberately discreet, certain clues suggest that it could be the opening of a practice location, or even a club in your region.
"I do have a project underway, which should see the light of day this summer. It's not yet the time to say too much, but it motivates me enormously. I wanted to respond to a concrete problem: where to play, where to train? There are still a few elements to refine, but this project should allow me to combine my racket repair business with the development of padel tennis in my area."
In other words, Mélanie's project could well take the form of a new place to play, train and structure padel activity locally, while creating a synergy with Padelrepair, his first company.
An entrepreneur already established in the industry
For several years, Mélanie has been at the head of Padelrepair, a company specializing in snowshoe repair and sale of reconditioned equipmentThis project, born from a simple observation and a real need in the market, allowed him to invest differently in padel.
"I want to continue doing what I love, but differently. Of course, it's a lot of work, but what could be more motivating than developing your business in an environment you're passionate about!"
Based on this first successful experience, she now wants to go further. Structure a local offer, boost the practice, and why not, open a new space dedicated to padel.
