Alexise Duchêne  et  Charlyne Tonda  have perfectly assumed their status at  P1000 women's tournament at TC Vernon As the number 1 seeds, they won the final against  Laura Robineau / Marine Fontaine , seeded 2, with a score of  7 / 5 6 / 0 .

A final in two parts, with a close first set, then a second set totally controlled by Duchêne and Tonda.

A tight first set, then a complete collapse for Robineau/Fontaine

In the first set, both pairs held their serves for a long time. The match remained close, with few gaps and a real battle to take control. But at  6/5 ,  Duchêne / Tonda  managed to make the difference at the right time.

More solid and cleaner, they also committed far fewer unforced errors than their opponents. This break at the end of the set allowed them to take the lead and gain a real advantage.

Behind them, the second set turned out to be a one-sided affair.  Tap / Fountain  struggled to get going again, with Robineau clearly having a tough time and making far too many unforced errors to hope to revive the final. Duchêne and Tonda took advantage to cruise to victory and finish with a  6/0  net.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
