The final began at a very even pace. Both pairs held their serve without too much difficulty, even though Arce and Dal Bianco earned their first break point on their first return. It was finally at 5/4 that the number 1s managed to make the difference, taking advantage of a slight drop in opponent intensity to break and pocket the first set 6/4.
The second set, however, started with a dynamic that favored the number 1s, who led 2/0 and even had a 3/0 lead. But Puppo and Maldonado then found the resources to completely reverse the trend. More aggressive and incisive, they chained six consecutive games to win the second set 6/2, completely relaunching the final.
Despite a tough start to the third round from their opponents, Dal Bianco and Arce quickly regain their level. More solid in defense, more consistent in attack, they take control of the exchanges and perfectly exploit the physical decline of Puppo and MaldonadoThe number 1s roll out and conclude this final with a severe 6/1.
