Maximilian Maple et Franco Da Bianco, long-time emblematic figures of the circuit A1 Padel, are starting a new chapter in their careers. Since the suspension/stoppage of the A1, the two Argentinians have been setting out to conquer the Premier Padel, with a clear objective: to establish themselves as a competitive pair against the best players in the world.
A quick start to the FIP Silver in Camboriú
Their transition began this week at FIP Silver of Camboriú, in Brazil, the first stage of their journey on the International Federation of PadelAnd the least we can say is that they sent a strong message: in two matches played, Arce and Dal Bianco conceded only one game.
A brilliant performance, which demonstrates their seriousness and their desire to quickly succeed in their integration into the ecosystem Premier Padel. If the overall level is still far from the major tournaments of the circuit, this start is encouraging.
The end of an era for A1 Padel
Le circuit A1 Padel, where Arce and Dal Bianco dominated for several seasons, has officially ceased operations 2025 beginning.
For Arce and Dal Bianco, it is a double challenge: start almost from scratch in terms of points, and prove their worth facing players experienced in the demands of the FIP Tour and especially Premier Padel.
A legitimacy to rebuild
Although highly respected on the A1, the two Argentinians know that their ranking, their automatisms and their visibility must now be rebuilt on a completely different siteThe FIP Tour is now their obligatory gateway to major tournaments.
But beyond the points and the tables, it is also a question of sporting legitimacy : Can they ultimately compete with Coello, Tapia, Chingotto, Lebron or Galan? Their ability to progress in the FIP Gold and Platinum tournaments will be decisive.
A close-knit and experienced pair
One of Arce/Dal Bianco's major assets remains their long-standing cohesion, their consistency, and their mental strength. Their game, very structured and complete, could well adapt to the demands of the new circuit. On condition, of course, that they gradually raise their level against sometimes more aggressive opponents than on the A1. Tolito / Alfonso will not say otherwise!
