Big weekend on the French circuit with several  P1000  on the agenda. Between  Nîmes ,  Lésigny  et  Vernon The favorites generally lived up to expectations, with some close finals and several confirmations of form.

Cancel / Forichon solid in Nîmes

Au  P1000 men from Nîmes ,  Ludovic Cancel / Paul Forichon The number 1 seeds lived up to expectations. In the final, they dominated  Louis Jover / Pedro Diaz Torregrosa , seeded 3, with a score of  7 / 6 6 / 3 .

The first set was very close, played in fast conditions and with quite a bit of wind. Neither pair managed to break serve, and it all came down to a tiebreak, which they won.  7 - 4  by Cancel / Forichon. Behind, the number 1 seed quickly took the lead in the second set, with a  Paul Forichon  very effective in these conditions thanks to its left paw.

A controlled victory for the favorites, who had already had to work hard in the semi-final against  Timéo Fonteny / Tom Taieb , beaten  5/7 6/2 6/4 Forichon wins his  second P1000 of the season while Cancel secures his  first title of the year .

Bougon/Gontier, bosses among the ladies in Nîmes

In the ladies' table  P1000 from Nîmes ,  Joana Bougon / Carla Gontier  They lived up to their status as number 1 seeds perfectly. In the final, they dominated.  Lienard / Sorel , seeded 2, with a score of  6 / 2 6 / 1 .

A tournament controlled from start to finish for Bougon/Gontier, who were rarely troubled throughout the weekend.  Joana Bougon , it's a  second P1000 title this season . For  Carla Gontier , above all, it's an important moment: his  first P1000 in my career .

Cazaban / Rubio: a nail-biting finish in Lésigny

Au  P1000 Lésigny ,  Hugo Cazaban / Raphaël Rubio , the number 1 seed, had to fight for their title in a thrilling final against  Gautier Boutel / Yannouk Henrion , seeded 4th:  6/2 6/7 6/4 .

After a controlled first set, Cazaban/Rubio seemed headed for a more comfortable victory. But Boutel/Henrion reignited the final in a thrilling second set, notably saving  two match points  before winning the tie-break.

In the third set, the number 1 seed managed to regain his composure, break serve at the crucial moment, and close out the match. With this victory,  Cazaban / Rubio  win their  second P1000 together this season , after their title in Castres.

In a final full of twists and turns, Cazaban and Rubio ultimately secured the title at the P1000 Lésigny.

Duchêne / Tonda dominate Vernon

Au  P1000 women's tournament at TC Vernon ,  Alexise Duchêne / Charlyne Tonda  They too lived up to expectations. As the number 1 seeds, they triumphed in the final against  Laura Robineau / Marine Fontaine , seeded 2, with a score of  7 / 5 6 / 0 .

The first set was close, but Duchêne/Tonda made the difference at  6/5 , before completely dominating the second set. They haven't lost a single set in the tournament and have only conceded one  10 games in four matches .

A very clean run for the number 1 seed, who wins his  second P1000 of the year .

Favorites at the rendezvous

The outcome of the weekend is clear: the top seeds delivered.  Cancel / Forichon ,  Bougon / Gontier ,  Cazaban / Rubio  et  Duchêne / Tonda  They all embraced their status, even if some had to fight to the very end.
