Your background: From studies to padel...

After my BAC PRO, the BTS and the Landscape Design Training, I decided to focus on the padel. I worked for 1 year at the Toulouse tennis stadium to try to develop the activity padel (3 sites).

Before embarking on the padel, I played tennis from 3 to 12 years old then football from 7 to 16 years old as a goalkeeper.

But the turning point for me is at the age of 14 when I discovered the padel. I will subscribe to "PADDLE PLUS", the Blagnac club in the Toulouse region where I will be trained.

In recent years, large structures such as Toulouse padel club with 7 courts or the Herers Tennis club with 4 courts were born. There is real dynamism in the region for this sport.

Your results: From the small French club to the world championships

I have a competitive spirit. As soon as I got down to padel, the competitions followed one another with rather good results. My best results:

  • 8ème with the French team at the 2012 World Championships in CANCUN
  • Winner of Padel International Trophy 2013 in Girona
  • National winner Padel Cup 2015 (Cap d'agde)
  • National winner Padel Cup 2016 (Cap d'agde)
  • Winner of the 2016 Greek International Tournament

Your ambition: To try my luck in Spain

2017 is a very special year for me. I am embarking on the international scene by joining the pro team Babolat in Madrid to devote myself 100% to padel.

The adventure should begin in March with my Lyon partner Johan Bergeron until the end of the season (next December). We are going to train at SANSET PADEL with its 34 fields which is the largest indoor club in padel in the world.

Everything seems to start well, since we will have an exceptional coach: RAMIRO CHOYA, coach of the pair Paquito Navarro and Sanyo Gutiérrez (world number 3), the recent winners of the Madrid Master.

We will do the pre-qualifiers for the stages of World padel Tour and we would like to join the world TOP 250 at the end of the year.

And France in all this?

The professional circuit is mainly in Spain, but we do not forget France.

We will be back for the main P1000s. The My Padel Tour, the Head Padel Open and the national Padel Cup will be events not to be missed.

With all the work we are going to do this year, there is obviously the ambition to aim for a French championship title in 2017 and to finish first in the FFT ranking.

A word of advice - stop typing too hard!

My advice is to stop typing very hard and want to finish the point quickly! It is the hospital that does not care about charity. I know. (To laugh)

I advise you to force yourself to let the ball go to the window, to type and smash gently and also to lob and play a lot of ball in the middle of the field between the two opposing players.
