What are the best smashes in women's padel? When asked about this,  Bea González  played along by establishing her  Top 5 best female smashers on the circuit , in a video published by  El4Set .

Unsurprisingly, several of the world's greatest players are featured in this ranking, despite having very different profiles.

5. Carmen Goenaga

In fifth position, Bea González cites  Carmen Goenaga whom she considers to be one of the most powerful players.

"Carmen Goenaga hits three-pointers very well. She also hits flat shots very well and has a lot of power."

4. Gemma Triay

For fourth place, it's impossible to overlook  Gemma Triay .

"There's not much to say. I think she's one of the best smashers on the tour. That's her signature shot."

3. Paula Josemaria

On the third step of the podium, Bea chooses her partner  Paula Josemaría , not without a touch of humor.

"If I don't put it higher, it'll kill me!"

She highlights the variety of her attacking moves.

"She has a quality very similar to Gemma's. She feints a lot, she has excellent spin, she hits hard and manages to get the ball very high."

2. Sofia Araújo

In second place, the Portuguese woman  Sofia Araújo  It impresses most of all with its raw power.

"I don't think she makes as many three-pointers, but she hits extremely hard. In my opinion, she hits the hardest of them all."

1. Andrea Ustero

For Bea González, the best smasher on the circuit is  Andrea Ustero .

She particularly admires his ability to make the ball take flight.

"I think she's the player who makes her smash go the highest, by a huge margin. She has a very personal, very unique technique, but her smash is incredibly effective, with a lot of power."
