What a test of padel tennis Padel Toulon club! For its big annual open, it is the French champion pair of padel 2017, Blanqué / Bergeron which wins over Scatena / Moreau.

The revenge of Blanqué / Bergeron

A victory that resembled a "revenge", explains Bastien Blanqué after his victory.

After last week's loss at the Head Padel Open to All In Padel Sports, we had to do something against Jérémy and Max.

It's done with this win in 2 sets: 6 / 4 7 / 6.

Clearly a tighter match and better bill than last week. And above all, we finally found our Bastien Blanqué who was to subscribers absent since last week. We find him at the best of times in this final where he realizes a very nice performance.

Johan Bergeron does the job. He managed above all to defeat Maxime Moreau in his diagonal. "JO" will keep putting Max in delicate positions. Jérémy Scatena will try to help his partner by taking more places, but with this tactic, there are also more faults and frustrations in Jeremy Scatena who nevertheless makes a good tournament.

Scat, the man in shape

It is certainly the man in the shape of the moment: Jérémy Scatena seems to have passed a course since a few weeks. It is much more percussive on the fly and it seems very difficult to take on high balls.

If for some of the French players, this tournament was the last of the season, life padelistic continues for our champions of France. Jo and Bastien explain to us:

We are only half of our season in Spain. Sometimes you have to make cuts. that's what we did this week and it paid off for this tournament. So we are re-attacking the Spanish tournaments next week.

A unique tournament organization

Jérémy Scatena:

Many clubs should take inspiration from this tournament. padel. We are pampered from morning to night. Well done to the club.

Johan Bergeron:

A magnificent tournament. These evenings and these moments spent with the whole team, really to do again. We will be back for sure.
