Le  second round of Brussels P2 qualifying  The verdict was delivered for the French team. A day marked by qualification and several close matches against seeded teams.

Seurin/Vanbauce secure the win and pull away on the final lap

Julien Seurin / Thomas Vanbauce  confirmed their very good start to the tournament.

Opposing the Belgians  Guerin / Semal , they have  assumed their status as favorites  with a clear victory  6 / 3 6 / 2 .

A flawless performance from start to finish, which propels them to  final round of qualifying .

They will now face the  3rd seed Oria / Gutiérrez , for a place in the final bracket.

Blanqué and Deloyer fall with honors

In front of the  seeded 2 Sager / Belluati ,  Bastien Blanqué and Maxime Deloyer  delivered a  very big match despite the defeat  7 / 5 6 / 4 .

Not initially favorites, they managed to compete with a very high-level pair, but it wasn't enough.

A frustrating elimination, but  encouraging in content .

 Tison / Joris stopped logically

After a strong start,  Benjamin Tison / Maxime Joris  bow down to the  TS3 Sintes Villalonga / Santigosa Sastre  :  6 / 1 6 / 4 .

A logical defeat against a higher-ranked pair, but  positive points to remember , notably the first round victory for Joris' return.

 Bergeron/Fonteny very close to victory

This is probably the biggest frustration on the French side.

 Johan Bergeron / Timéo Fonteny  delivered a  huge battle  in front of the  TS8 Insa / Roglan , before bowing  7 / 6 7 / 5 .

A very close match, where the French are  came very close to knocking out a seeded player .

Only one duo remains in the race

Finally,  Seurin / Vanbauce  will be the only French representatives at  final round of qualifying .

Also note:  Carla Touly will enter the competition tonight  for her first round in the women's category.

Despite several eliminations, the overall result remains positive with  Close matches and an encouraging level of play  facing strong pairs.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
