La French Tennis Federation officially launched its Call for applications for the organization of the federal padel events for the 2027 sports season (AS 2027) This initiative is aimed at clubs with the necessary infrastructure and wishing to host national competitions, either pairs or teams, during the period from... September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027 .
Clubs targeted according to specific criteria
This call for applications concerns all clubs affiliated with or authorized by the FFT provided that of at least four padel courts of the same type , with a minimum height of 7 meters These technical criteria are essential to ensure the smooth running of federal competitions and compliance with sporting standards.
Clubs meeting these conditions can position themselves on one or more tests subject to compliance with the specific specifications at each competition.
Which competitions are affected in AS 2027?
The call for applications covers all federal events scheduled in the AS 2027 calendar. One important point to note:
the P1500 and P2000 events could evolve into P2000 and P3000 formats respectively. , with a prize money increase These developments, however, remain subject to validation by the Federal Bureau and the Federal Committee .
The FFT also specifies that, for clubs applying to participate in the current P1500 events, specific feedback will be provided, the prize money for the current P2000 tournaments is being covered by the FFT .

AS 2027 Call for Applications Calendar
The procedure follows a precise timetable, established by the Management Padel :
- 26 January : Opening of the application period
- January 26 to February 27 : submission of applications by the clubs
- Friday 27 February at 23h59 : closing of the data entry period
- Thursday March 26 : proposed timetable to the Federal Commission Padel
- Friday, April 10 : presentation of the schedule to the Federal Office
- Wednesday 7 may : final validation by the Federal Committee
- Sometime in May 2027 : communication of the final schedule to clubs, leagues and committees
Possibility of reassignment in case of withdrawal
The FFT specifies that if a club is ultimately unable to host a competition Despite initial approval by the Federal Committee, it reserves the right to reassign the date to another candidate club , having participated in the call for applications.
