It is now established that a indoor padel club with 12 tracks will be located on the site of theMaisons-Laffitte racecourse in the Yvelines. Supported by the Casa Group PadelThis structuring project is part of a comprehensive plan for the redevelopment of the racecourse, combining sports, hotel and event facilities. Announced on December 15, 2025, this establishment marks an important step for the development of padel in Maisons-Laffittewith an estimated private investment between 3 and 4 million euros and an operation designed for year-round, indoor use.
Maisons-Laffitte: becoming a strong city in padel
City Maisons-Laffitte already has a outdoor padel courtinstalled within the municipal tennis club. An existing but limited infrastructure, which does not allow for fully meeting the growing demand for regular and year-round practice of the sport.
A new project, of a completely different scale, was officially announced on 15th December 2025 by Franck LelièvreDeputy mayor for financial optimization and communication. It concerns the establishment of a indoor padel club with 12 tracks on the site of theMaisons-Laffitte racecourse, as part of a vast site transformation plan.
This project was presented during a town council meeting dedicated to voting on the budget and several key decisions for the future of the racecourse. Among these was the approval of the principle of establishing a padel club, integrated into a comprehensive strategy for sporting and economic diversification.

From the beginning of 2024, several private operators specializing in padel were approached. Three of them were studied, following several months of legal, technical, and financial analysis. At the end of this process, the offer from Casa Group Padel was retained.
The operator commits to investing between 3 and 4 million euros of private funds for the creation of a key indoor complex, including:
- 12 indoor padel courts
- un clubhouse with dining area
- un additional sports area
- un coworking space
- un doctor's officeincluding, in particular, a physiotherapist

Padel, but not only that…
Beyond the sports equipment, the project is part of a comprehensive plan to revive the racecoursewhich also includes the creation of a large private sports club, a hotel, a panoramic restaurant, event spaces, as well as the continuation of activities related to horse racing, in connection with France Gallop.
During the municipal debates, the principle of establishing a padel club was recognized by a large number of elected officials as an opportunity for the area, particularly in terms of job creation, development of new accessible sports practices and diversification of city revenueHowever, the deliberation gave rise to divergent positions during the vote.
With this project of indoor padel club with 12 tracksMaisons-Laffitte is part of a dynamic now observed on several major sites in the Ile-de-France region: integrating padel as a structuring lever for redevelopment, within large-scale real estate and sports projects.
