La Châtaigneraie is taking another step in its commitment to sport. The club from the Île-de-France region has announced the launch of CASTANEA A program designed to support young talents in individual sports, with a particular focus on padel. The goal: to offer promising players an environment conducive to their development, going far beyond simple financial support.
A system designed for young players with high potential
With the rise of padel in France, young competitors are facing increasingly significant demands: increased travel, cost of equipment, physical preparation, succession of competitions, and balancing studies and sport.
It is to meet these challenges that La Châtaigneraie imagined CASTANEA , a support program open to young athletes in individual sports presenting a genuine performance project.
Young padel players will be able to apply to join this program.
Tailor-made support
CASTANEA's ambition is to go beyond one-off financial assistance.
The program provides personalized support which may include financial assistance, privileged access to club facilities, human support, as well as a network of experts capable of supporting athletes in their progress.
The goal is to allow young talents to focus on their sporting development, without external constraints hindering their progress.
A selection based on potential… and values
Applications will be reviewed by a jury composed of personalities from the world of sport: top athletes, coaches, managers, agents and performance specialists.
The selection criteria will not be limited to results. The jury will also consider commitment, potential for improvement, the quality of the sporting project, and the values upheld by each candidate.
La Châtaigneraie asserts its ambitions
Already recognized as one of the leading tennis and padel clubs in Île-de-France, La Châtaigneraie now wishes to strengthen its involvement in training the athletes of tomorrow.
Through CASTANEA, the club intends to become a true career partner for young athletes.
« We firmly believe that future champions are forged long before they reach the podium. Our responsibility is to provide them with a supportive environment that allows them to fully realize their potential. With CASTANEA, we aim to support young people who embody hard work, ambition, and the values of sport. We hope this program will also contribute to the development of padel in France in the years to come. ", Explain Julien Chenneberg , general manager of La Châtaigneraie.
With this initiative, La Châtaigneraie confirms its commitment to actively participate in the structuring of French padel, by investing in those who could write its next great chapters.
