Alix Collombon  announced his  package for Brussels P2 A decision taken as a precaution after the final played the previous day at  FIP Bronze Seville .

 A warning for Jana Montes

During this final, his partner  Jana Montes  felt  physical discomfort , a small alert that quickly prompted caution.

After examination, the physiotherapist was clear:
Rest recommended Nothing serious at first glance, but  too risky to follow up immediately .

Between a final that finished late, a  express trip to Brussels  And with the series of matches, all the warning lights were flashing red.

 No unnecessary risks

The choice was therefore made to  do not force , in order to avoid a more serious injury.

The goal is simple:
to allow to  Jana Montes to return at 100%  in the next days.

Focus on the FIP Silver in Italy

Collombon and Montes are already looking ahead to the next step with the  FIP Silver Bari in Italy , scheduled for this week.

They will be there  seeded 4 , with a  a great opportunity to pick up important points .

 A strategic choice

This package follows a clear logic:

  • avoid aggravating a discomfort
  • managing travel-related fatigue
  •  target the most important tournaments in the short term

A frustrating choice at the time, but  logical in a long and demanding season .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
