Cyril Hanouna, a padel court and a text message from Fun Radio. This is how the promotional clip chosen to announce the presenter's return to the station begins.
The scene begins far from the hustle and bustle of Paris. Cyril Hanouna is calmly playing padel. when he receives a rather urgent message from Fun Radio: "Cyril, where are you? We'll be on air in 5 minutes..."
The starting point of a race against time lasting more than a minute during which the presenter attempts, in a deliberately offbeat staging, to reach the broadcast on time.
A new format from 16pm to 18pm
Behind the humorous scenario, the video accompanies a genuine new feature in the schedule of Fun radio After a first season that began in September 2025 with All beautiful, all fun!, originally scheduled from 15pm to 18pm, Cyril Hanouna returns this season in a New format broadcast Monday to Friday from 16pm to 18pm .
The station notably announces new games, debates with listeners, and prizes , still centered around Cyril Hanouna and his team. Fun Radio also indicates that the show has exceeded 2 million podcast listens .
The next broadcast has been announced. Monday, August 31st at 16 p.m. for a two-hour broadcast.
And of course, padel is never far away.
The choice of a padel court to launch this promotional clip is ultimately quite logical. Cyril Hanouna is a regular practitioner and his taste for this sport is now largely associated with his image outside of film sets and studios.
So much so that padel becomes the backdrop for the start of his media comeback: while Fun Radio is waiting for him in Paris, he is still racket in hand on the court.
What follows is a race against time to get on air. A rather original way to promote this new season.
And of course, For us, as soon as a video starts on a padel court, we say yes!
