Au  FIP BRONZE PADEL BARCELONA EL PRAT The main draw begins this Friday, and unfortunately, there was some damage on the French side during the qualifying rounds.

 Maximiliano Sepulveda / Maxime Chedorge  came very close to taking down the top seeds in qualifying, the Spanish pair  Hugo Estebanez Estevez / Alvaro Bartolome Hernan .

On their side,  Raphaël Rubio / Nathan Perrot Despite being seeded 5th in qualifying, they had to concede defeat to a particularly tricky wild card.  Ian Garcia Calvo / Asier Estebanez Estevez A Spanish pair who subsequently confirmed their form by defeating the third seed in the qualifying rounds final. This seed had themselves eliminated the other all-French pair.  Slevin Pasanau / Houssain Robin .

 Result: no French player managed to get out of the qualifiers. 

Good news nonetheless: there is still one Frenchman left in the men's draw.  Arthur Hugounenq , associated with Spanish  Jose Manuel Ortiz Llerena , forms the  7st seed in the tournament The pair will start their tournament directly in the main draw against the Spanish-Italian association.  Mario Rodriguez Marcos / Lorenzo Bogarin , around  11 hrs .

Among the women, the French are well represented.

The situation is quite different in the women's draw, with several Frenchwomen expected on the Barcelona tracks.

La  seeded 1, Léa Godallier / Daiara Valenzuela She will only enter the competition in the round of 16. The Franco-Spanish player and her partner are obviously the tournament favorites. Given the draw and their level of play, it's difficult to identify a pair capable of stopping them.

More good news:  No other French player is in the top seed's section of the draw. thus avoiding a premature Franco-French duel.

In the lower part of the draw, however, we will find several French players. The Franco-Malagasy pair  Fiona Ligi / Fitia Robinson Andrianafetra  will face the Spanish  Marina Vilariño Sanclimens / Elia Pons Plazas .
