The beautiful journey of  Marie-Amelie Dardaine  et  Clara Mansart  stopped in the semi-finals of the  FIP Bronze Dronten Opposed to the Dutch  Stephanie Weterings  et  Janine Hemmes  (TS5), the French women lost in two sets ( 6 / 1 6 / 3 ).

The previous day's efforts took their toll.

The day after their impressive quarter-final victory against the Spanish  Jimena Díaz De La Iglesia  et  Paula Ferrán  (TS6), Dardaine and Mansart were unable to string together a series.

It must be said that the French women were still coming off a huge battle in the previous round against the  seeded 4 ,  Giulia Sussarello  et  Ivet Val Lopez , won after a nail-biting finish ( 6/2 6/7 7/6 ) A very high-level performance that has undoubtedly left its mark, both physically and mentally.

Facing a Dutch pair brimming with confidence after eliminating the  seeded 1 The French team never really found the solutions.

A dynamic that is nevertheless confirmed

However, this defeat should not obscure the main point.

Since several weeks,  Dardaine  et  Mansard  stringing together benchmark performances on the  FIP Tour .

After one  semi-final at the FIP Silver Bandol , an  quarter-final at the FIP Silver Narbonne they now add a  new semi-final  in Dronten, with two very fine victories against higher-ranked pairs along the way.

Their success against the  TS4 , then their controlled quarter-final against the  TS6 confirm that they are now able to regularly compete with players established in the world's top 150.

Getting closer and closer to a big result

Even though the challenge was a little too great this Saturday, this Dutch week offers some promising prospects.

The results keep coming, the level of play is becoming more and more consistent, and confidence grows tournament after tournament.

The first final on the  FIP Tour  seems to be getting closer for the two Frenchwomen, who confirm their progress on the international scene week after week.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
