Julien Seurin (172) had a superb run this week in Malaysia, at the FIP Bronze Kuala Lumpur. Partnered for the first time with the Spaniard Albert Trillas Garcia (201), the Frenchman seems to have found an ideal partner. Together, they have just secured their ticket to the final after a big victory against the seeded 2, made of Christian Medina Murphy (104) et Alberto Garcia Jimenez (112).

In this semi final, Seurin and Trillas won in two sets: 7 / 6 6 / 1. After a close first set, won in a tie-break, the Franco-Spaniards completely dominated the second, leaving only crumbs to their opponents. A victory against two players close to the world top 100, which confirms the Julien Seurin returns to form on the FIP circuit.

In the final, Seurin and Trillas will face the seeded 5, Marc Bernils Garcia (325) et Sergi Nogueras Lorenz (258)The latter created a surprise by crushing (6/4 6/0) the number 1 seed Gustavo Nunes (134) et Miguel Angel Solbes (82) in the semifinals.

The title is therefore within reach for Seurin and Trillas, but they will have to stay strong against a Spanish pair full of confidence. The match is scheduled for this Sunday around 12 p.m. (French time) on center court.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
