There will ultimately be no Frenchwoman in the final of the  FIP Bronze Marnes The last Frenchwoman still in the running,  Louise Bahurel , associated with  Ivet Val Lopez , lost in the semi-finals against  Maria Portillo Perez / Martina Parmigiani (TS3) ,  6 / 2 6 / 3 . In the other semi-final,  Emily Stellato / Giulia Sussarello (TS4)  They caused a surprise by knocking out the tournament favorites.

Bahurel / Val López failed to get the machine going again

After their big win the day before,  Bahurel / Val López (TS7)  This time, they never actually managed to install their game.

Facing a pair  Portillo Perez / Parmigiani  Particularly solid, they lacked the precision to compete. The third seed quickly took control and never relinquished it to win.  6 / 2 6 / 3 .

Fatigue may also have played a role. In the quarterfinals, Bahurel and Val López had engaged in a hard-fought three-set battle to defeat  Rebeca Lopez Lopez / Catherine Rose (TS2) ,  6/2 4/6 6/2 A demanding match that allowed them to pull off the biggest upset in the women's draw.

The journey therefore remains very positive for the Franco-Spanish pair, who notably eliminated the 2nd seed before reaching the semi-finals.

Bahurel/Val López are headed to Paris Major.

Not much time to recover since  Louise Bahurel / Ivet Val López  will now switch to the  Paris Major .

The two players received a  wild card for the main draw  They will therefore be directly involved in the French Open starting next week. After several matches in Marnes, they will arrive in Paris with good match fitness, even though they will now need to recover from this busy week.

Portillo Perez / Parmigiani impress

On their side,  Maria Portillo Perez / Martina Parmigiani  continue their almost perfect run in Marnes.

The third seed has yet to lose a single set:

 First round :  victory  6 / 0 6 / 2
 Quarterfinal :  victory  6 / 4 6 / 3
 Semi final :  victory  6 / 2 6 / 3

This rise in power allows them to reach the final with a lot of confidence.

Stellato/Sussarello defeat the favorites

The surprise came from the other semi-final.  Emily Stellato / Giulia Sussarello (TS4)  have dominated  Ana Varo Ramos / Marcella Koek (TS1)  on the same score:  6 / 2 6 / 3 .

A real performance against the tournament favorites, but not necessarily a surprise considering the week the Italians had.

They too have a very solid track record:

 First round :  victory  6 / 2 6 / 0
 Quarterfinal :  victory  6 / 4 6 / 4
 Semi final :  victory  6 / 2 6 / 3

Like their future adversaries,  Stellato/Sussarello have therefore still not conceded a single set. .

A TS3 vs TS4 final starting at 13:30 PM

The title will therefore be decided between two pairs who have perfectly managed their week:

Maria Portillo Perez / Martina Parmigiani (TS3) vs Emily Stellato / Giulia Sussarello (TS4)

A final between two pairs full of confidence, both still undefeated in terms of sets in the draw.

The meeting will be to follow  live from 13:30 pm on Padel MagTV .

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
