The FIP Bronze tournament in Rijswijk ultimately proved elusive for the French representatives. Having successively defeated two of France's main hopes in the tournament, Jose Rico and Juan Cruz Forastello capped off their perfect week by claiming the title in the Netherlands.

Arriving as the sixth seeds, Spaniard Jose Rico and Argentinian Juan Cruz Forastello defied expectations to win the Dutch FIP Bronze tournament. Their run was marked by two victories against pairs who were particularly anticipated by the French.

In the semi-finals, the Spanish-Argentine pair first ended the impressive run of Antonio Luque and Julien Seurin, the 3rd seeds. After a hard-fought match, Rico and Forastello prevailed in three sets:  4/6 6/2 7/6 , after a decisive tie-break in the third set.

A victory that opened the doors to the final, where another pair with a strong French presence awaited them: Marco Cassetta and Dylan Guichard, the tournament's second seeds.

This time, Rico and Forastello left no room for suspense. Very solid in the crucial moments, they took control of the match to win in two sets:  6 / 2 6 / 4 , thus securing the trophy in Rijswijk.

Naturally, this result will leave some regrets in the French camp. With the early elimination of some big names and a draw that seemed relatively open, there were real opportunities to see a Frenchman lift the trophy in the Netherlands.
