The first edition of the FIP Bronze Rivesaltes now has its women's final lineup... and there will be a Frenchwoman!  Carla Toully associated with the Dutch  Marcella Koek , prevailed after an intense battle against the Spanish  Alba Gallardo  et  Blanca Arriola In the other semi-final, a huge upset: the favorites  Sandra Bellver  et  Ana Domínguez  were eliminated by the Italians  Margherita Aima  et  Caterina Baldi .

What a battle on the central court of the Viapadel in Rivesaltes.  Carla Toully  and his Dutch partner  Marcella Koek  challenged the Spanish team, the tournament's fourth seed,  Blanca Arriola  (112th in the world) and  Alba Gallardo  (122nd, formerly 60th in the world).

After a clash of rare intensity, the Franco-Dutch pair emerged victorious.  7/6 6/7 6/4  at the of  2h57 game .

The match changed hands several times. Touly and Koek thought they had the victory in the second set, but let it slip away.  five match balls  (!), allowing the Spanish team to get back into the match and snatch a third set.

In the decisive set, both players managed to regroup. A break obtained midway through the set ultimately allowed them to take the lead and secure their place in the final.

For  Carla Toully This is about his  second final in FIP Bronze   in 2026 , after the one held in Kaunas, Lithuania. His last title dates back to  Last October at the FIP Bronze Poreč in Croatia , won alongside  Lucia Peralta .

The Italian pair Baldi/Aima eliminate TS1 Bellver/Domínguez

In the other semi-final, the tournament hierarchy was shaken up.

The Italians  Margherita Aima  et  Caterina Baldi , seeded 3rd, caused an upset by eliminating the tournament favorites,  Sandra Bellver  et  Ana Domínguez , seeded 1.

Until now, the Spanish pair had perfectly controlled their run in the tournament, qualifying for the semi-finals without much difficulty. But against the Italians, the momentum shifted.

Fresher physically and very strong in important moments,  Baldi and Aima  They managed to make the difference to reach the final. A great run for the Italians, who had already made a strong impression in the quarter-finals by eliminating the French team.  Charlotte Soubrié  et  Cayetana Sanchez .
