This week again, some players and women French are present on the FIP Tourwith very different contexts depending on the tournament. Before getting down to business next week with the FIP Platinum Marseille.
FIP Bronze Valence: a dense field, little room for error
The side of FIP Bronze of ValenceThe level is particularly high for a Bronze tournament, as evidenced by the presence of strong top seeds in both the men's and women's draws.
At the men, Tristan Piombo (684th) was initially supposed to be associated with the Belgian Nathan Lambrechts (510th). The pair finally withdrew before the start of the tournament, depriving the draw of a French representative on the men's side. A very strong draw with many players in the world's top 100.
At the womenFrance, on the other hand, will be represented by Lou Lambert Agosti (253rd), partnered with the Spanish woman Nura Padilla Tomasa (326th). A duo without seeded status, entered in a tough draw which notably includes Sharifova / Borrero, Las Heras / Polo or, Peralta / Martínez.
FIP Bronze Doha: making way for youth and discovery
A different setting, a different dynamic at FIP Bronze from Doha, where the French presence is marked by two very different profiles.
At the men, Kamel Mouimen (436nd) will be associated with Bilal Duprat (820th). A pair that goes directly into the main draw.
At the womenAttention will be focused on the Bekhedda sisters, Feryel et Neilawho will compete in Doha FIP's very first tournament, just 16 yearsA first appearance on the international circuit, synonymous with discovering the very highest level, managing the context, and accelerated learning. The result will be secondary; the main thing is to gain experience.
The FIP Tour is gradually launching its season and some French people are already present.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
