The men's final of the  FIP Platinum Marseille  was of a high standard.  seeded 1 ,  Javi Leal / Fran Guerrero , respected its status by imposing itself  3/6 6/3 6/4  in front of the  seeded 2 ,  Javi Garrido / Lucas Bergamini A well-deserved victory, but one achieved at the cost of a real tug-of-war.

The start of the match is clearly in favor of Garrido and Bergamini. Garrido shows  very impactful offensively , not hesitating to finish points by coming from Bergamini's side. The Brazilian, for his part, plays  fair and clean , builds exchanges to perfection and  dominates its diagonal  against Guerrero. A logical result:  6/3  for the TS2, with a real impression of mastery.

But the appearance is gradually changing.  Leal and Guerrero reduce unforced errors gain in precision and consistency, while Garrido and Bergamini lose in solidity, especially in key moments.
In  second and third sets , Leal and Guerrero  break quickly from the start  and maintain their lead until the end, making the difference when it matters most.

A pivotal moment in the match: at  5/4  In the third set, Leal/Guerrero serve. Garrido/Bergamini get  a break point , but they don't convert it. Behind, the TS1 remains solid on serve and  concludes  to secure the title.

With this success,  Leal and Guerrero become the first winners in the history of the FIP Platinum Marseille , an inaugural edition destined to become a long-running event. The tournament was a  resounding success and this victory rewards an association reformed especially for the occasion, after showing great promise last season.

Starting next week, it's time for the  Riyadh Premier Padel P1 , the first major event of the season, where the two Marseille champions will play with their  respective partners  :

  •  Fran Guerrero  will be associated with  Paquito Navarro .
  •  Javi leal  had to play with  paul cardona However, the latter, still physically limited, preferred to withdraw. Leal will therefore partner with  exceptionally  à  Jon sanz he too is free after the withdrawal of  Coki Nieto .

One thing is sure:  Leal / Guerrero  They made a lasting impression in Marseille and launched their season in the best possible way.
