The third edition of  FIP Silver Bandol  It was not a happy time for the French representatives. Despite a strong French presence in both the men's and women's draws, no French player managed to reach the final.

In the men's competition, the victory went to the second seeded team, composed of  Ignacio Archieri and Jaume Romera who had to work hard to clinch the title. In the final, they overcame the third seed,  Daniel Luna and Nacho Moragues , at the end of a match played in three sets:  6/7 6/4 6/1 .

The eventual winners had already expended a great deal of energy in the semi-final a few hours earlier. Facing the fourth seed,  Juan Zamora and Alejandro Garcia , recent semi-finalists of the  FIP Bronze Marnes Archieri and Romera had to wait until the decisive third-set tie-break to make the difference ( 6/3 4/6 7/6 ).

In the upper part of the table, a certain amount of disappointment will undoubtedly accompany the journey of  Timéo Fonteny and Yoan Boronad Seeded 5th in the tournament, the French pair delivered a solid performance but narrowly lost to the eventual finalists.

In the women's competition, the hope of seeing a Frenchwoman secure a place in the final also vanished in the face of Spanish dominance.

The number 1 seed, composed of the Italian  Xenia Clasca  and the Spanish  Lorena Vano had to fight hard to reach the final. Trailing after the first set against the third seed,  Carmen Castillon and Maria Portillo The Spanish-Italian pair finally turned the situation around in three sets:  2/6 7/6 6/1 .
