The International Federation of Padel (FIP) plans to organize in 2025 a intercontinental competition who will oppose Europe à america. Inspired by the Laver Cup in tennis and Ryder Cup In golf, this new competition will bring together the best players from each continent.

Le format and settlement have not yet been announced, but a challenge lies ahead for this encounter. While the best players from each continent are present, the level of competition could be concentrated mainly around the players fromSpain andArgentina, the two dominant nations in the world padel. This could make the event seem like a Spain vs Argentina, rather than a real duel Europe-America.

Last year, a similar format was tested with the Reserve Cup, where two teams competed for three days in a system of draft : the captains of each team took turns choosing a player from among the 12 participants.

We also remember the World Padel Tour, which had implemented a similar format, simply named Europe vs America.
