A fantastic week for the Rolandi brothers at the FIP Promises Diputación de Málaga. Eleven-year-old Paul Rolandi won the U12 tournament with Spaniard Tello Buitron and also reached the semi-finals in the U14 category. His younger brother, Thiago, just nine years old, also reached the semi-finals of the U12 draw. 

Le  FIP Promises Diputación de Málaga The tournament, held from August 13 to 16 in Alhaurín de la Torre, was particularly successful for the young French players Paul and Thiago Rolandi.

A new title for Rolandi / Buitron

In U12,  Paul Rolandi Porcel and Tello Buitron Olcina The top seeds won the tournament. The Frenchman only...  11 years old and hasn't yet celebrated his 12th birthday .

This victory primarily confirms the consistency of this pair on the FIP Promises circuit. Rolandi and Buitron had already won several important stages together in 2026:  Valencia, Perugia, Malgrat de Mar, Paris, Mérida, Barcelona and Alicante The FIP notably confirms their victory in Malgrat de Mar in March as well as their U12 title in Alicante in July.

In Málaga, the two players were still the favorites in the U12 tournament, with the status of  seeded 1 .

This new success allows  Paul Rolandi continues his progress in the FIP Promises U12 rankings, where he now occupies second place, behind his teammate Tello Buitron .

A semi-final also in U14

Paul Rolandi did not limit himself to competing in his age category, as he was also entered in  U14 , still with Tello Buitron. The two players reached the  semi-finals .

This performance is consistent with his season's momentum. Paul had already reached the U14 semi-finals at  Perugia, Malgrat de Mar and Mérida , as well as the quarter-finals of the FIP Promises Paris in Lésigny.

At just 11 years old, the Frenchman is accumulating results in his category but also against older players.

Thiago Rolandi, a semi-finalist at only 9 years old

Another French performance in Málaga: that of  Thiago Rolandi Paul's little brother.

Aged only  9 years old and almost 10 he was associated with the Spaniard  Luis Silva Bellorin The pair were seeded 2nd in the U12 draw and reached the  semi-finals .

Two brothers and three remarkable results in Málaga:  Paul Rolandi won the U12 title and reached the U14 semi-finals, while Thiago Rolandi also reached the U12 semi-finals. .

For Paul, this Spanish week confirms above all a particularly consistent 2026 season on the FIP Promises circuit and a progression which now places him among the best U12 players in the international ranking.
