In an interview published by neoadel , Guillaume Solis , one of the organizers of FIP Promises Paris by WME Sports , find Alberto Niño CEO SpertyPadel , to work on the publishing 2026 of the Paris tournament.
An interesting sequence, because it allows us to revisit the first edition 2025 but also to feel that the project already wants to pass a milestone .
A successful first FIP Promises for SpertyPadel
In this speech, Alberto Niño first looks back at the very positive results of the 2025 edition for his academy, which came to Paris with its entire group.
And the result was remarkable.
"The 2025 tournament was excellent for everyone. I want to thank Guillaume and the organizers for the opportunity they gave us to experience a magnificent, very well-organized tournament."
The boss of SpertyPadel , a structure specializing in supporting young players towards the highest level, also highlights the sporting results obtained by its team during this first visit to Paris.
"We were fortunate enough to win four titles out of four finals, plus three semi-finals. This is undoubtedly a very important achievement for the entire Team Sperty."
A very strong result, all the more symbolic as it was the first joint outing for the whole group.
"It was the first time the whole team had traveled together, and it had to be in Paris, a very special place."
A true recognition of the French level
Beyond the results, one of the most interesting parts of the interview concerns the perspective taken by Alberto Niño on the level of French padel .
And by his own admission, he was pleasantly surprised.
"Honestly, I was surprised, because we saw a very high level among the French players."
While acknowledging that the volume of players remains greater in Spain, he insists above all on the fact that the gap is clearly narrowing at the highest level.
"It's true that there are more Spanish players, but the level of the best players has become much closer."
And he even takes the analysis a little further.
"They are no longer that far behind Spanish padel or global padel. I think that in a few years, everything will even out, and that France will bring a lot of joy with its padel players."
Already looking ahead to 2026
The other interesting aspect of this interview is obviously its forward-looking dimension.
Because beyond the results, Guillaume Solis et Alberto Niño are already working together on the publishing 2026 du FIP Promises Paris .
And on Sperty's side, the objective is clear: to return with the same ambition… but also with a form of sporting revenge.
"After coming in 2025 and losing some semi-finals we didn't think we'd lose, we're going to try to get our revenge a little."
The tone remains light, but the desire to come back strong is definitely there.
A tournament that still wants to grow
Finally Alberto Niño He also emphasizes what he hopes to see again in 2026: a tournament capable of maintaining the sporting level and overall quality that marked this first edition.
"We're going to try to enjoy ourselves like last year, have fun at the tournament, and make sure it maintains this competitive level."
Before concluding, he discussed what had particularly struck him in 2025:
"There were some very hard-fought finals, and I think we saw a very high level of sport overall."
Focus on 2026
One thing emerges quite clearly from this interview: the FIP Promises Paris does not simply want to replicate what was done in 2025.
The idea is rather to consolidate , raise the level even further and continue to make Paris an important meeting place for the international youth generation.
And apparently, on the side of SpertyPadel The appointment is already marked.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
