Silver medalists at the European Junior Championships with the French team,  Sacha Devriendt  et  Siméo Debroy  will arrive at  FIP Promises Paris by WME Sports  with strong ambitions. Top seeds among the favorites in the U14 category, the two residents of the Vichy National Training Centre will try to win a title that eluded Devriendt last year.

Two European runners-up brimming with confidence

Their summer could hardly have started better.

Just back from Portugal with a  European silver medal  around their necks, Sacha Devriendt and Siméo Debroy will return to the tracks of Lésigny with a single objective: to transform this momentum into a title on the FIP Promises circuit.

The two Frenchmen know each other perfectly. They are residents of the  Vichy National Center for National Education They train together daily within the federal structure and today represent two of the greatest hopes of French padel.

Sacha Devriendt, a score to settle

For Sacha Devriendt, this Parisian meeting has a special flavor.

Last year, partnered with Elliot Mura, he reached the final of the FIP Promises Paris. After a particularly grueling semi-final, the French pair were unable to conserve enough energy to go for the title.

A few days before this new edition, the young Frenchman made no secret of his ambitions:

"Last time, with Elliot, we made it to the final, but after a very tough semi-final, it was physically difficult. This time, we're going to try to go for the win."

A determination that reflects the player's consistent progress since his arrival at  Vichy National Training Center .

Selected for a second year at the CNE, Devriendt believes he has made enormous progress tactically but also in managing his emotions.

“Before coming here, I used to get angry during training. Now, that’s not the case at all. I also think I’ve made a lot of progress in game strategy,” he explained recently.

Debroy, already a benchmark of his generation

By his side,  Siméo Debro He too has a very impressive CV despite his young age.

French U14 champion in 2024, the CNE player has established himself as one of the most reliable players of his generation.

At the last European Championships, he played with  Gabriel Bessiere while the latter will be associated with  Léon Benveniste  during the FIP Promises Paris.

A few weeks earlier, Debroy had also won the  Master TNJ  organized at the CNE in Vichy. In the final, he and Sacha Devriendt prevailed against  Tyrone Potter  et  Gabriel Bessiere  at the end of a spectacular match (4/6 6/4 6/1).

These results confirm that the two young Frenchmen know how to deliver at major national events.

The Spanish are in the crosshairs.

Although Devriendt and Debroy have already demonstrated that they can dominate the best French players of their generation, the challenge will be even greater in Lésigny.

The Spanish remain the clear favorites in the tournament.  Joel Ranera  et  Christian Riesgo , number 1 seed in the U14 category and references of the FIP Promises circuit.

But the European runners-up will have arguments to make. Drawing on their shared experience, their daily work in Vichy, and the confidence built up in recent weeks, they will have a real chance.

For Sacha Devriendt, the objective is already clear. After a lost final in 2025, he fully intends to return to the courts of Lésigny to write a different ending. This time, with Siméo Debroy by his side, the young Frenchman hopes to leave with the trophy.
