Young French people  Sacha Devriendt  et  Simeon Debroy  achieved one of the biggest performances of the  FIP Promises Paris by WME Sports In the round of 16, they caused a sensation by eliminating the number 1 seed.  Christian Riesgo  et  Joel Ranera , respectively number 1 and 2 in the world in the category  U14 .

After a first round perfectly controlled against the French  Gabriel Bessiere  et  Léon Benveniste  (6/0 6/2), Devriendt and Debroy knew that a huge challenge awaited them.

Facing the tournament favorites, the two French players delivered a top-level performance. Solid in the crucial moments, they won a hard-fought first set.  7/5 , before suffering a reaction from the Spaniards, who were largely dominant in the second set (1/6).

Everything therefore hinged on the  super tie-break Far from giving in to the pressure, the French regained control of the match and won.  10-6 , when they were down 6-4, confirming one of the biggest upsets of the tournament.
