The hierarchy of French padel is changing this week. Thanks to his title won at the  FIP Bronze Dakar  next to  Johan Bergeron ,  Julien Seurin  gains 12 places in the FIP rankings and now reaches the  164th place in the world , joining Bergeron in second place in the French rankings behind Dylan Guichard.

A great reward for the Frenchman, who confirms his rise to prominence in recent weeks. Since his final at the  FIP Bronze Hong Kong Seurin continues his string of solid performances with several quarter-finals, a semi-final, and a great run at the  Brussels P2  and now a title on the FIP circuit.

In Dakar, the Bergeron/Seurin duo perfectly exploited their status as second seeds. After a controlled run without losing a single set before the final, the two Frenchmen pulled off a major upset by dominating the number one seeds.  Pablo Pastor Landaburu / Luis Oliver Artigas , on the score of  6/3 3/6 6/3 .

This victory allows Seurin to continue his upward trajectory, while Bergeron experiences a slight decline despite the title. The Lyon native drops eight places in the world rankings, a consequence of having to defend important points from last season and facing increasingly stiff competition.

Fonteny continues to progress

Among the other fit French athletes,  Timeo Fonteny  continues its rise. Thanks to its quarter-final at  FIP Silver Bandol He gains two places and now sits at  167th world rank , very close to the Bergeron-Seurin duo.

 Yoan Boronad  He also took advantage of his good run in Bandol to gain five places and reach the  188th place in the world .

Conversely, several French stocks are declining this week.  Dylan Guichard  loses one place (100th in the world)  Bastien Blanqué  drops 17 places to 180th in the world, while  Thomas Leygue  loses three places and ends up 190th.

In the ladies,  Alix Collombon  takes advantage of his round of 16 match at the Italy Major  to gain a place and climb to the  35th world rank .

Behind her,  Léa Godallier  slips slightly but remains firmly in the world's Top 60 with its 57th place.

Bahurel, Dardaine and Soubrié rewarded

The best deal of the week goes to...  Marie-Amelie Dardaine Thanks to his very impressive career at  FIP Silver Bandol She gains eight places and now reaches the  171th place in the world .

 Louise Bahurel  also continues to get closer to the Top 100 with three places gained and a 115th position worldwide.

Finalist of  FIP Bronze Dakar ,  Charlotte Soubrié  achieves the strongest French gain of the week with  14 places won which allows him to reach 189th place in the world.
