The  Italy Major 2026  has reshuffled several cards in the global rankings. While the leaders remain the same, some progress is noteworthy, starting with that of  Leo Augsburg  in men and  Nuria Rodríguez  among the ladies.

Leo Augsburger reaches his best ranking

A semi-finalist in Rome and now established among the top players on the circuit,  Leo Augsburg  continues its meteoric rise.

The Argentinian climbs to the  6th place in the world , the best ranking of his young career. A logical reward for someone who forms with  Juan Lebrón  one of the most dangerous pairs at the moment.

Augsburger now surpasses  mike yanguas  and gets even closer to the world's Top 5. In the upcoming tournaments with  Lebrón They will now be seeded 3rd instead of 4th.

Campagnolo is also climbing

 Lucas Campagnolo  is one of the big winners of the Italy Major. Thanks to his superb run up to  semi-final alongside Momo González The Brazilian wins  three places in the FIP ranking  and has now reached the  18th place in the world , their best ranking in a very long time. A well-deserved reward for a pair who caused a surprise in Rome by reaching the semi-finals of the second Major of the season.

Coello and Tapia regain the lead in the Race

Thanks to their title in Rome,  Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello  also regain first place in the  Race 2026 .

After several tournaments without a title and four consecutive defeats against Galán and Chingotto, the world's number 1 players responded to the biggest event of the season so far.

They now have a slight lead over their rivals in the race for the annual ranking.

Nuria Rodríguez, the big winner among the ladies

Among women, the most impressive progress is that of  Nuria Rodríguez .

Associated with the Italian  Giulia Dal Pozzo The Spaniard caused one of the sensations of the Italy Major by reaching the semi-finals after notably eliminating Sofia Araújo and Claudia Fernández.

This performance allows him to win  nine seats  and to climb to  25th world rank , thus entering the Top 30.

His partner  Giulia Dal Pozzo  also makes spectacular progress with  19 places won propelling it to 31st place in the world.

Two players who clearly made their mark on the Rome tournament and who could quickly become regulars in the final fours.

Triay and Brea consolidate their number 1 position

Victorious in Rome against Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero,  Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea  consolidate their dominance in the rankings.

Their title ends a run of five consecutive lost finals against Paula Josemaría and Bea González and also allows them to regain the lead in Race 2026 with a now comfortable advantage.
