New update of FIP rankingAnd once again, the results are overwhelmingly positive for the French athletes. Their performances on the international circuit are starting to pay off, with several significant improvements in both the men's and women's categories.

Three French players in the world's top 120

This is the big news of the week: France now places three players in the world's top 120.

  • Dylan Guichard gains 4 places and climbs to 114th world rank.
  • Johan BergeronRewarded for his excellent performance at the FIP Silver Espoo, he climbed 5 places and moved up 118th in the world.
  • Bastien Blanqué also progresses by 4 positions to reach the 119th place.

A good density which confirms the rise of French padel internationally.

Leygue continues his climb up the ladder

The momentum is also very positive for Thomas LeygueWith 6 places gained, he rejoins the world top 150 (149th) and continues its progress after returning to form.

Behind :

  • Julien Seurin gains 4 places (165th).
  • Timeo Fonteny, in great form after his strong performance at Espoo, climbs 6 places and reaches the 170th place in the world.
  • Yoan Boronad moved up one place (190th).
  • Nicolas Rouanet signs a great progression with +8 places (245e).

The fall of Joris

The only major notable decrease: Maxime Joris, which loses 54 places and drops out of the top 200 (243rd).

A decline primarily linked to the loss of 90 FIP points earned last year at FIP Gold Dubaiwhere he had reached the final. Less present on the circuit in recent months, he is logically paying the price for this decline.

For the women: green almost everywhere

The women's ranking also remains generally positive.

  • Alix Collombon drops 2 places (35th).
  • Léa Godallier maintains itself at the 59th place in the world.
  • Carla Toully drops 2 places (83rd).
  • Louise Bahurel drops 4 places (119th).

Behind them, the trend is upward:

  • Melissa Martin gains 4 places and reaches the 143th place in the world.
  • Camille Sireix, Steffi Merah, Marie-Amélie Dardaine, Lucile Pothier, Charlotte Soubrié and Jessica Ginier all move up one place.

An encouraging dynamic for French women's padel.

More points to be won this week

The good news is that opportunities are available immediately. The French will be hired.

  • on the Premier Padel from Gijón,
  • au FIP Bronze Uten,
  • au FIP Bronze Alexandria,
  • and especially to the FIP Gold Ponta Delgada, the big event of the week.

These are all opportunities to accumulate valuable FIP points and continue this great collective progress.

The momentum is there. Now we just need to extend it on the field.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
