FAST Padel Academy continues its development and establishes itself in Liège

FAST Padel Academy continues its expansion in Belgium. Already present in Charleroi-Montignies, Courcelles and Mettet, the academy is opening a fourth location in Liège, within the new Garrincha Liège-Wandre, which is scheduled to open on August 27, 2026.

A fourth location for FAST Padel Academy

With this arrival in Liège, FAST Padel Academy strengthens its partnership with Garrincha and continues to roll out its training model in Wallonia. The objective remains the same at each site: to offer structured teaching based on a common methodology and regularly trained coaches.

To manage this new branch, the academy has chosen Nathan Lambrechts as Head Coach FAST Liège . A Liège native and top Belgian player, he will be responsible for coaching the players and developing local activity, in connection with the FAST team.

"The arrival in Liège is not simply an additional location. It reflects our desire to build a structured academy around a common method, continuously trained coaches, and the same educational standards at each site."

FAST now has four locations: Charleroi-Montignies, Courcelles, Mettet and Liège .

Think & Play, the method at the heart of the project

The development of FAST is based in particular on its method Think & Play which combines tactical understanding and technical mastery.

The part "Think" It involves reading the game, positioning, anticipation, and decision-making. The game “Play” focuses more on technique, coordination and execution of shots.

The idea is not to limit learning to the repetition of movements, but to help the player to identify the right solution based on the situation encountered in the field .

For adults, the sessions are organized with four players maximum per group , in order to maintain individualized monitoring.

Christophe Pilosio and Christophe Rassart are the originators of the project

FAST Padel Academy was founded by Christophe Pilosio and Christophe Rassart , two profiles from different disciplines.

Christophe Pilosio, the academy's operational and financial director, is a former professional volleyball player Christophe Rassart, the technical director, has, for his part, worked in high-level tennis training .

Having become padel players and coaches, the two men are also involved in the coach training with the federation Their journey has led them to train with several international organizations and specialists, including Padel MBA, Gustavo Spector / Spector Padel House and PTR .

They also received the development price , rewarding a contribution to the development of padel in Wallonia and Brussels.

This complementarity between team sports, tennis and padel forms the basis of the philosophy developed by FAST.

“We come from two very different sporting worlds, but we’ve reached the same conclusion: technique alone isn’t enough. A player truly progresses when he understands what he’s doing, why he’s doing it, and when he’s able to make the right decision in the game.”

Twelve coaches and in-house training every month

Beyond opening new sites, FAST seeks to maintain a consistency in the teaching offered .

The academy now has 12 trained coaches who participate in ongoing internal training organized monthly by Christophe Pilosio and Christophe Rassart.

A system designed to maintain the same educational principles from one center to another despite the development of the network.

FAST Kids: nearly 75 young people in Montignies

Training young people also represents an important part of the project. Nearly 75 children are currently being supported in Montignies as part of the FAST Kids programs.

The approach is adapted to the age of the participants with work around learning padel, but also autonomy, the pleasure of playing and sporting progress.

The development of the academy in Liège should now allow this offer to be extended to a new pool of players.

A discovery week for the launch in Liège

On the occasion of the opening of Garrincha Liège-Wandre FAST will organize a discovery week .

Free lessons will be offered to intermediate and advanced players. Beginners, or players wishing to better assess their level, will be able to take the... FAST Passport .

Registration is also open for the adult and children's cycles from September to December 2026 .

With this fourth location, FAST Padel Academy is thus continuing its scaling up while retaining the pillars around which the project was built: small groups, ongoing training for coaches, youth development and the Think & Play methodology .
