After a three-week break, Premier Padel resumes its rights to Paraguay with the P2 of AsuncionThis tournament marks the start of the circuit's second South American tour this season, with a highly anticipated next stop in Buenos Aires.

This return to competition is all the more anticipated as it is marked by numerous pairing changes, both for men and women, following the initial adjustments in 2025. The new associations are shaking things up, making this tournament particularly unpredictable.

Men's table: new duets and reunions

One of the main attractions of this tournament is the return of Franco Stupaczuk next to Juan Lebrón after Stupa's absence for several weeks due to injury. Seeded number 3, they will begin their tournament against a pair from the qualifiers. Their path could, however, be strewn with pitfalls, with a possible duel in the quarterfinals against Cardona and Augsburger.

In the same part of the table, the world number 1 Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia seem to have a rather clear initial path until the semi-final where they could find Juan Lebrón et Franco Stupaczuk or Cardona and Augsburger, two pairs who have already beaten them this season.

Finally, the new association between Tino Libaak and Javi Garrido will also be closely followed, with a first round against José Antonio Diestro / Juanlu Esbrí and a possible quarter against Tapia and Coello.

In the lower part of the table, the new pair Edu Alonso / Jairo Bautista (TS8) will have a lot to do in the first round against Gonzalo Rubio / Javi Ruiz. Another highly anticipated new pair, Alex Chozas and Sanyo Gutiérrez will challenge in the first round Juan Cruz Belluati / Pablo Lijó.

One of the most anticipated matches of this first round will undoubtedly be the one between Alex Ruiz / Maxi Sanchez and the new pair Javi Leal / Fran Guerrero, which promises a big duel.

On the side of Mike Yanguas and Coki Nieto (TS4). The latter will face the new pair as soon as they enter the competition. Lucas Campagnolo / Nachi Sager and could find in quarter Martin Di Nenno and Juan Tello (TS6).

Women's table: promising new alliances

To Claudia Fernandez and Bea Gonzalez (TS3), journey to the semi-finals seems affordable, but they might find themselves on their way Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez or the pair Marta Ortega / Alejandra Alonso.

Another significant new alliance is that of Sofia Araújo / Andrea Ustero (TS4), which starts against the winning pair between Fassio / Bidahorria et Caldera / GoenagaThis tandem could find the second seed Gemma Triay / Delfi Brea in the semi-final, a shock in perspective.

Other new associations to watch include: Aranza Osoro and Martina Calvo, who will have to battle in the eighth against Vero Virseda / Alejandra Salazar in the event of victory in the first round, with a possible quarter-final against Delfi Brea / Gemma Triay (TS2).

To Alix Collombon and Araceli Martinez, first round looks affordable against two wild cards, but they could then face a complicated round of 16 salary. Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea.
