For several months, the renewal of the TFP Padel is at the center of an administrative uncertainty that affects all regions offering this training. In the absence of validation of France Skills, registered candidates find themselves in a precarious situation, while the expanding padel clubs are waiting for qualified teachers.

France Skills is the national authority responsible for financing and regulating vocational training and apprenticeships, thus making it possible to formalize the TFP Padel.

However, the training has still not been renewed, leaving the candidates in uncertainty. Some have left their jobs to devote themselves to this project and acquire the skills necessary to teach padel.

Successive postponements and a first refusal in November 2024

At the end of July 2024, the France Skills Commission did not validate the diploma, thus postponing the training to September 30st. But on this date, a new adjournment is announced, without a precise date for a decision.

In November 2024, the long-awaited decision falls: France Compétences rejects the request for renewal of the TFP Padel.

A situation still blocked in February 2025

In February 2025, after several months of uncertainty and a new adjournment of the commission, the future of the TFP Padel remains uncertain. The last opportunity to validate the training before September 2025 is based on a commission planned the February 27.

If the training is not validated by this date, a postponement until the end of 2025 will be necessary. This prolonged situation weighs heavily on candidates, who suffer from a lack of income. Many of them find themselves stuck in a precarious situation that continues to worsen.

A lack of response from France Compétences

Padel Magazine requested several times France Skills, but got no response.

La FFT is obviously in no way responsible from this situation and continues to act to enable these candidates to obtain their diploma. The clubs are also affected by this uncertainty, because they were counting on these future teachers to provide their group lessons.

Le TFP Padel could it be renewed in 2024/2025?

What's the purpose France Skills Does she refuse to renew the training? A question that remains unanswered, leaving candidates and clubs in total uncertainty.
