The  French Padel Championships for over-45s 2026 , organized at  EARTH Padel The tournament has already produced several surprises before the semi-finals. While some favorites continue their journey without difficulty, others have exited the competition prematurely.

Sorel/Lambregts eliminated, Maignien/Camps continue their run

At the  Women The main sensation came from the elimination of the  seeded 3 ,  Géraldine Sorel / Emmelien Lambregts , from the round of 16 onwards.

The duo was defeated by  Pegguy Maignien  et  Magali Camps ,  pair 9 who then confirmed their excellent momentum by securing their qualification for the  semi-finals  in front of the  seeded 2 ,  Julien Pecastaing / Céline Verdier .

In the other half of the draw, the hierarchy was more respected. The top favorites,  Amélie Detrivière / Catherine Lalanne ,  1 seeded They continue their journey without any real hitches and seem to have their tournament perfectly under control.

In the semi-finals, they will face the  seeded 5 ,  Alexandra Yandian / Aurélie Voisin , victorious in the quarter-finals of  Caroline Michel / Stéphanie Weil ,  4 seeded .

In the men's draw, the number 1 seed falls in the quarterfinals.

The men's draw also had its share of twists and turns. The biggest surprise was the elimination in the quarterfinals of the  seeded 1 ,  Julien Datcharry / Romain Coirault , beaten by  Jean-François Planchais / Vincent Kuber , only  seeded 11 .

However, this performance can be put into perspective, as this pair has a level of play superior to their ranking on paper.

Another highly anticipated team, the  martel brothers ,  5 seeded They continue their journey after having benefited from a relatively favorable draw so far. However, the competition looks tougher in the semi-finals, and they will have to raise their level of play to hope to secure a place in the final.
