The last two men's quarter-finals of the  Malaga Premier Padel P1  have delivered their verdict.  Ale Galán / Fede Chingotto  et  Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger  lived up to expectations and will meet in the semi-finals for a match that everyone was waiting for.

On one side, the consistency of the number 2 seed. On the other, the offensive firepower of Lebrón and Augsburger. And above all, a new chapter in a rivalry that has become one of the most followed on the circuit.

 Galán and Chingotto were solid in the important moments 

Facing  Javi Leal / Fran Guerrero Galán and Chingotto had to work hard to prevail  6 / 3 7 / 6 .

The second seed controlled the first set perfectly, securing a break that gave them a comfortable lead. But the rest of the match was much closer.

Leal and Guerrero raised their game in the second set. More aggressive and more precise, they pushed Galán and Chingotto to a tiebreak. But on the crucial points, the world number twos once again demonstrated their reliability.

Without necessarily producing their best padel, they were able to tighten their game at the right time to finish in two sets and secure another qualification for the final four.

 Lebrón and Augsburger are gaining momentum 

In the last quarter of the day,  Juan Lebrón / Leo Augsburger  have dominated  Momo González / Lucas Campagnolo  on the score of  6 / 3 6 / 2 .

The first set was hard-fought, but the third seed gradually imposed its rhythm. Augsburger's power and Lebrón's aggression ultimately made the difference against a pair that slowly faded.

In the second set, the Spanish-Argentine duo clearly took control. Sharper in attack, they left very few openings for Momo and Campagnolo to seal the victory with authority.

After their elimination in the quarter-finals in Bordeaux against Paquito Navarro and Martín Di Nenno, Lebrón and Augsburger have therefore returned to the semi-finals.

 A reunion 35 days after Valencia 

The semi-final will therefore be between  Galan / Chingotto  à  Lebrón / Augsburger , only  35 days after their very tense duel in Valencia .

This encounter was marked by several heated exchanges, notably between  Galan and Lebron , after a ball sent by the Madrid player towards Augsburger. Since then, this match has gained even more tension and interest.

It will be the  sixth confrontation  between the two pairs. Galán and Chingotto are currently leading.  4-1 with victories in Mexico in 2025, then in Buenos Aires, Rome and Valencia in 2026. Lebrón and Augsburger have only won one duel, in Brussels.

But the counters will be reset to zero at  Martin Carpena , in an atmosphere that promises to be electric. Between the solidity of Galán and Chingotto, the power of Lebrón and Augsburger and the history between the two teams, this semi-final has all the ingredients of the expected clash.
