The second men's semi-final of the Qatar Major 2025 will pit Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto (seed number 2) in pairs Francisco “Paquito” Navarro and Lucas Bergamini (n°6). A first opposition between these two pairs, with a blank face-to-face (0-0), which promises an intense clash to secure a place in the final.
Galán and Chingotto aim for a historic hat-trick
Already winners of two titles in 2025 (Miami P1 and Santiago P1), Galan and Chingotto seem to be in great shape. Since the beginning of their association, they have won seven titles togetherincluding a Major, three P1 et three P2.
If they win in Doha, they would achieve a first: three consecutive titles for a pair formed less than a year ago. Another impressive statistic: they have never lost in a Major to a pair ranked outside the top 4.
Navarro and Bergamini in search of a first final
On their side, Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini will try to create a surprise. They have not yet never reached the final of a tournament together, and have not yet beaten a top 3 pair since the beginning of their collaboration.
However, experience is not lacking in this team: Navarro has already won a Major, right here in Doha in 2022, alongside Martín Di Nenno. On the other hand, for Bergamini, it would be a first final in a major tournament.
