Gemma Triay signs a resounding return to the top of women's padel. Winner of the Italy Major 2025 next to Delfina Brea, the Spaniard once again regains the number 1 spot in the FIP rankings, after a perfectly controlled week on Roman soil.

This performance is not just a flash in the pan. In the final, against the queens of the circuit, Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, the Triay / Brea pair struck again: a clear victory 6/4 6/4, as in the Qatar Major final. More than a score, a demonstration of consistency, mental solidity, and tactical intelligence.

With this fifth title in 2025, and a second Major in the same season, Triay asserts herself more than ever as a leader of the circuit. She will have experienced one of her best levels of play this season, carried by a perfectly balanced alliance with Brea: power, defense, variation and calm in the hot moments.
