Despite the geopolitical tensions that currently complicate travel in the Middle East,  Lucas Bergamini  et  Javi Garrido  they try everything to be present at the  P2 of Gijón The Spanish-Brazilian pair have embarked on a long journey since the  United Arab Emirates , with a particularly complex route to reach Spain on time.

 A multi-stage journey from the Emirates 

As revealed by the Spanish media Portal Superpadel and confirmed by  Lucas Bergamini  The two players have already launched their travel plan on their social media accounts.

Their journey began with a  journey from the United Arab Emirates to Oman , the first step before being able to take a  Flight to Barcelona Once in Catalonia, the duo will still have to follow up with  another plane heading towards Asturias before ending the journey  by car to Gijón .

A real obstacle course, made necessary by air traffic disruptions in the region.

 A first match already scheduled 

Despite these logistical uncertainties,  Premier Padel maintained the schedule for their entry into the competition .  Garrido and Bergamini  must contest their  first round this Wednesday, March 4th , in the penultimate rotation  on track 2 with a planned schedule  not before 18 p.m. .

They will be opposed to the pair  Maxi Sánchez Blasco / José Jiménez .

 A race against time 

It remains to be seen whether the Spanish-Brazilian pair will manage to complete this long journey in time to take to the track. One thing is certain: given the undertaking,  Garrido and Bergamini are determined not to miss the Asturian stage .

The next few hours will tell if this is truly  aerial odyssey  will allow them to be present in Gijón.
